| "Recent anti-gang
efforts in California are being focused on the prevention
approach. It is being recognized that our best attempts
at helping children stay out of gangs begins at younger
ages.
Your video "Jake the Gnome/
Gangs and Teams", is a valuable tool in reaching
the Pre-3 children in our Tulare County Schools. Its
storybook style with illustrations and narration gives
our children the important difference between a gang
and a team and does so in a very non-threatening fashion.
Teachers who have utilized this video
are pleased with its message and find that their students
are given a valuable lesson about the positive aspects
of a team versus the negative aspects of a gang.
Keep up the great work, and I look
forward to using your future video products. "

"Your video, I.C. Berg 'Goin to Gronup' is delightful!
We have had many positive comments from members of our
Drug Education Audio-Visual Review Committee, and from
early childhood educators who teach in the Baltimore
City Schools. We particularly appreciated the manner
in which positive prevention messages are reinforced,
and also the fact that the material presented is appropriate
for young children.
Our office has purchased copies of
this video for use in our elementary schools. It will
be used to support existing drug education curricula.
The poster and work sheets will assist teachers in
incorporating this theme into other areas.
We appreciate your prompt response
to our inquires."

Dear Yvonne:
I hope this letter finds you well.
I am so sorry for not responding
your letter when you asked for it but I have been
very busy working in special programming for Christmas.
The tape you sent us has been very
useful, because we have specials for kids just to
let them know what drugs are and how they can affect
their body and their mind. The response has been wonderful,
especially from the parents that say the children
enjoyed it and what's more important, they could understand
it.
We appreciate your cooperation with
our Channel and we hope we can count on you in the
future with more material.
God bless you and your family for
what you do for the children.
Best Wishes,
Ana Karina Aplicano

Dear Mrs. Collie:
It is with great pleasure that I am
writing to tell you that we are including two of your
"Jake's World" videos on our in-house cable
TV patient education program for our pediatric patients.
They shall be a welcome addition to our efforts in developing
a Preventative Health Care Program for pediatrics. Both
our Pediatric Educator and I feel that the heathcare
storyline, still-life presentation, and soothing adult
voice-over will be most appealing to our patients.
We have all become aware of the need
for preventative healthcare eduction and the needed
emphasis in our youngest population. Your video materials
will be a great aid in filling this need for us. Please
keep us aware of any new products you may be developing.
Sincerely,
Lois Sullivan, R.N.
